le'mn "movement" music 2022

on jan 2022, lawrence was on personal reflection retreat and remembered the joy he used to get from making playlists with friends. this was a practice he learned about from ross chanowski who used to do seasonal (i think) playlists with his friends. when lawrence and ross were working on jungle together, they would make playlists and it was a :fire emoji: practice. he thought it’d be sweet to expand the practice to some current close friends and that’s how we got there. the monthly playlist practice has brought the four of us into deeper friendship, and it’s been meaningful to weave it into our feminist men’s group by sharing a song each time we meet.
